Watts Bar Lake Campgrounds

If you want to go tent camping, these Watts Bar Lake camping spots are your best bet. However, they are suitable for RVs as well.

Fooshee Pass Campground

Fooshee Pass Campground is a Meigs County campground near Ten Mile, TN.

There are 55 campsites here which can accommodate tents and RVs. All of the campsites have water, electric, picnic tables and a fire ring.

Amenities at Fooshee Pass Campground include a boat ramp, playground, swimming area, showers, and a dump station.

Note that this is a pet-friendly campground, but only 2 pets are allowed per campsite.

Hornsby Hollow Campground

Hornsby Hollow Campground is on the eastern shore of Watts Bar Lake. It’s a few miles northeast of Fooshee Pass in Ten Mile, TN.

This pet-friendly campground offers 109 campsites with electric hookups, including 5 handicap accessible sites. Sites are suitable for tents and RVs.

Spend your days out on Watts Bar Lake by taking advantage of the campground’s swimming areas, boat rentals, and boat slips.

Campsites can only be reserved online in advance if you plan to arrive on a Sunday through Wednesday. If your camping trip will begin during the first half of the week your reservation can be made online on Campspot.

If you plan to arrive to Hornsby Hollow Campground on a Thursday through Saturday, you may call ahead on the day of your arrival to have a site held until you show up. The campground’s phone number is (423) 334-1709.

Riley Creek Campground

Riley Creek Campground is near the northern end of Watts Bar Lake.

Both tent campers and RV owners can take advantage of Riley Creek’s 45 campsites. The campsites have water and electric hook up.

Campers can enjoy their time on Watts Bar Lake using the campground’s boat launch or two swimming areas.

Rhea Springs Campground

Rhea Springs Campground is near Spring City, TN.

This campground has two dozen or so campsites, many of which are right on the water.

Rhea Springs Campground offers a bathhouse and each site includes picnic tables and grills. The campsites aren’t numbered. so just identify an empty campsite where you see these amenities.

Campsites at Rhea Springs Campground cannot be reserved in advance. They are available on a first come, first serve basis and they’re free to use.

Jackson Island

Jackson Island by the southern end of Watts Bar Lake near Spring City, TN.

Despite being named Jackson Island, it’s actually a peninsula, so you can still drive directly to this campground.

This camping spot has about 30 campsites that are suitable for tents and RVs.

Jackson Island doesn’t have as nice of amenities as some other campgrounds. Only port-a-potties are available here.

Campsites at Jackson Island cannot be reserved in advance. They are available on a first come, first serve basis and they’re free to use.

Watts Bar Lake RV Parks

Caney Creek RV Resort

Caney Creek RV Resort is by the northern end of Watts Bar Lake near Harriman, TN.

This RV park has more than 200 sites, all of which include full-hookups. The campground also offers laundry, Wi-Fi, and cable.

Get out on Watts Bar Lake during your stay with paddle board and canoe rentals, pontoon rentals, a fishing pier, and a boat dock.

Cedar Point RV Park

Cedar Point RV Park is near the southern end of Watts Bar Lake by Spring City, TN.

These are extended stay RV sites. So rent a site here by the month if you want to return for Watts Bar Lake for camping again and again.

The sites are full hookup 30/50 amp RV sites. Wi-Fi, laundry, and a bath house are all available here.

Cuzzin RV Park

Cuzzin RV Park is on the western shore of Watts Bar Lake.

This RV park offers full hookup sites including electric, water, septic, and cable.

RV sites are available on a nightly, weekly, or monthly basis. Call (423) 365-7500 for additional information.

Eden Marina Campground

Eden Marina Campground is also on the western shore of Watts Bar Lake, a few minutes away from Cuzzin RV Park.

There are 34 sites for RVs or tents at Eden Marina Campground. All of the sites offer water and electric hookups while some include septic.

Enjoy activities both on and off the lake between the campground’s sandy beach, horse shoe pits, volleyball courts, and basketball hoop.

Euchee Marina Resort and Campground

Euchee Marina Resort and Campground is on Watts Bar Lake’s eastern shore in Ten Mile, TN.

Sites include both water and electric hookup as well as sewer. Some of the sites are on the water. Campers also have access to a bathhouse and laundry.

Spend time out on Watts Bar Lake using the campground’s boat rentals.
